 About Me

My name Is Alexander Simpson, but call me Alex or Lex. I currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona moved here about three years ago when my job relocated me to Phoenix from Philadelphia, PA. I work at Merrill Edge/Bank of America as an Operations Specialist. Growing up, I always loved computers, and I would often help others troubleshoot issues in tech for my family and friends or co-workers if we had tech issues at work.  
I have a little insight about that when it comes to technology. In 2010 I created an entertainment website titled YourMusicMyWorld, which focused on various postings on today’s popular music. We featured New Music Drops, Interviews, articles, and more. During the pandemic (2020) I decided to make a hard decision and shut down my website to focus on what I truly wanted to do with my life.

While I loved the opportunities my site provided me, such as attending different events, meeting celebrities, and networking with other music professionals, my heart was no longer into it. In 2023 I enrolled at UGAC to get my degree in Cyber Security. With the knowledge I plan to gain from UGAC, I plan to start my career at my current employer in the IT department to gain work experience in hopes of getting a career as a Cyber Security engineer.
